Make the look
your own.

Start with one treatment. Keep the details that make your image worth looking at.

  1. 01

    Choose the medium.

Browse the image library. Look for the qualities you want: tape softness, silver-plate detail, glowing optics or unpredictable color.

  2. 02

    Copy what you need.

Effect only works with your own image or scene. Complete scene includes the subject, camera, light and treatment. Period looks offer an optional wardrobe change.

  3. 03

    Replace conflicting instructions.

Use this treatment in place of your existing grade and texture instructions. “Clean and grain-free” will fight a worn VHS or Super 8 look. Make a first image, then adjust one quality at a time.
